It is important for the public to read your posts . I have  read that market reports are boring well not to the public . Believe me they are reading them . You will receive many calls from buyers and sellers from market reports .

 

If you do not write markets reports  you should start and within three to nine months you too will start to receive calls if you put time into them. Will they get featured ? Most likely not but is that why we blog ? It is nice to receive featured post and very exciting but that is not the reason we blog .  Well not the reason I blog it is to communicate .

 

 

Find a Niche and write about it . Talk about what is up for sale what has sold Take pictures of the area .  Let readers know what there is to do in the community . What  wonderful places there are to eat around and about  the area  Perhaps you chose a condo community . Do they allow pets ?  Is it close to public transportation .Talk about the schools make it interesting -not boring   Invite your reader's to come back  and be consistent

Niches will bring you riches - offer Free  Market Analysis of their Home it works  Barbara Todaro  recommended it to me and it has worked for me

Hannah, market reports might not get the comments and features but, they sure do get the attention of consumers. I didn't like writing them at first but, now they are a favorite. Keeps me current on the market at all times and it's exciting when someone calls because they've been reading them. You did a great job on this post, congratulations on your feature!

This reminds me of reading a book report - when it's your child's book report, you read with interest and admiration - when it's not, well.... maybe not so much interest or admiration.  Thank you for the reminder to share the market, even if it will only be a "Feature" to a few homeowners.

Hannah I have gone away from Active Rain. But I have written three Market Reports this month alone was a way to try to get my content out there to reach potential home buyers and sellers. So I am hoping in 6-9 months,I will start to bear the fruits of my hard labor. Thanks for sharing.
