So you are planning on building a new home.

Do you know he rules?

Before you even purchase the land you need to know...

Minimum square feet of the home.

Maximum size of any out buildings.

Type of septic.

Possible depth of the well.

Are farm animals allowed?

Is hunting allowed?

How about firearm shooting?

Can more than one home be built on the land?

Is the above is yes, do you need separate utilities?   (well and septic).

Do you need a survey?

How about a wetland delineation?

Are there requirements of type of siding and roofing.

Does the driveway need to be paved?

And the list can go on and on.

Just remember...it is not all cut and dry

This deer calls this wooded area home, can you make it yours also?

It is very important for prospective home builder to understand any restrictions that may curtail any ideas they may have.

I am working with several people that are in the process of building. It isn't a quick process and there should be no corner cutting.
