harmonLas Vegas is getting its first green project on the Las Vegas strip, CityCenter. CityCenter will be a project on a unprecedented scale and will feature green technologies making it one of the world biggest's environmentally sustainable urban communities.

Potential residents will have a choice of four high rise residences, all built in a contemporary urban design.  The project will have two condo-hotel buildings, the Mandarin and the Harmon as well as two purely residential high rises, the Vdara and the Veer Towers.  In addition to the many luxury amenities found in high rise living, residents will also be given priority treatment at any Las Vegas MGM Mirage resort, including VIP access to entertainment, tee times, spas, shows, etc.

The project is expected to cost an estimated 7 billion dollars and may end employing upwards of 12,000 people by the time of completion. CityCenter is currently under construction.

Reservations are now being taken. For more information about Las Vegas high rise condos or to reserve a CityCenter condo, contact me at 702-493-8033. -cr

Your photo looks more inviting than those on CityCenter. It's good to see more green development. If this project is successfully, hopefully there will be copycats.

I can't wait for City Center to be completed.  It's going to be extremely cool.  Hopefully it will be a great exacmple of green building.  I am a bit disappointed that the focus of the center is not necessarily placed on "complete livability" as it is focused on being another gaudy downtown LV monstrosity.  Oh well, what are you going to do?  The architucture from the (7?) various builders will be spectacular!

Oh! Oh! Oh! ( I feel like Horseshack) When you get the opportunity would you tell us what elements went into the building to make it green? Is it LEED? Energy Star? Or on the state level?

They are going to ask for full LEED certification. They are incorporating water re-use, power conservation and generation as well.  They will have their own power plant for it as well. -charles
