Hi Brenda:

Happy New Year first off...In my internet travels today I have tried with little or no success to find manufactured homes for sale in Tillamook Co.    I came across your page and had to let you know it is quite clever and informative...wish I had thought of it!

I am currently living in Corvallis and have been here forever or so it seems.   In the past few years my life has completely changed as I am now disabled and oh I hate that word.    I could make this an autobiography; I have a tendency to be long winded but I won't bore you with all my problems.   I am looking for solutions and changes to get my life back to some degree of normalcy.    Since my children are way grown and for the most part gone or moved I find myself pretty alone as they have their lives.   My brother Larry works for Tillamook Cheese as Wastewater Manager, Sister in law Cari is Food Bank Coordinator.  They moved over there from here in 1990 and seem very content.   I also have a very close friend from there that is offering to introduce me to people that will be supportive and hopefully become new friends.   I need to have that as it is not happening here, I have decided to take the plunge and very probably relocate to that area.    My reason for leaving this message is not only to commend your insight on creating this page but, to see if you might have some better ideas for seaching out available and really CHEAP mobile homes that are not likely to flood out.    I don't know if that is possible but I have nothing to lose by checking different sources.  I didn't find the paper to be the most helpful.   I've been told that sometimes people can't afford to keep an ongoing add in the paper for older homes that they are trying to sell so my hope is that there are some places in the area but I'm not able to find them online.

so....Do you have any suggestions?   Traveling back and forth a lot is not a good option for me hence the "dis" ability "  issue comes into play.   I do have people that can go look for me if they have an address.

I don't think I can afford much over ten thousand and that's not going to be real easy but I know that as expensive as Corvallis is, there are a lot of them in that price range so I am hoping that there are some in Tillamook County.   Would prefer Tillamook itself unless there is just a better deal close by like in Bay City, Gerabaldi, etc.   I will be utilizing the YMCA too so want to be near places I will be going to.   I also will of course need a GOOD doctor.    So, in closing  if nothing else it was nice just saying hello and perhaps even venting a bit.  If you have any ideas please email me back at kellyirons@comcast.net.   My phone numbers are 541.752.1082   cell phone is 541.740.7772.    Thanks for making it through this not so short note and reading it.    Perhaps we will meet sometime.    Before I became unable to work I actually was office manager for Elite Property Management so I kinda know the score a bit.   Years ago I also held a position for the state veteran's affairs farm and home loan division.    Anyway, thanks again.
