WOW,

I didn't realize that the Real Estate debacle was as bad as it is. The situation is indeed terrible in the north (PA) as bad as it is in the South (FL).

In Florida, this time of year, it should be sunny and warm, garden's should be beautiful and the weather should be warm..Not so.  The weather up north is quite cold...Which goes with my prediction from many year's ago that the EARTH IS ROTATING ON IT'S AXIS AND THE SEASON'S ARE CHANGING.

Many year's ago, I told my parent's that September is warmer and May is colder...my theory is that the earth is rotating on it's axis and while when I was young, it snowed from late September through spring which used to be April.  Now, September is warm,,,it get's cold about a week before Halloween and it stay's cold until late May...

So the April shower's bring's May flower's theory is out the window.

It's cold in the north!  I just got back to FL from PA and the temperature at night was 50 degrees...

Geeze...

That's cold!

Anyone else feel the cold up there? Does anyone else feel the season's are changing.

HOW DO YOU STAGE A HOME IN THE NORTH FOR THE SPRING WHEN IT'S STILL COLD AND THE BIRDS STILL NEED FED???

Here in Bucks County, PA, it has been cooler (especially at night), but it's still Spring.  Grass is green, flowers are up, dogwoods trees have already bloomed and fallen off.  I'm cutting the lawn 2 times per week so it's Spring allright.....

Other than the cooler temps, I'll take it.  Looks like the weekend into Monday could hit 80 degrees.

I've been to PA in June before and the highs for the day were in the 50s and was told that the cool weather was not abnormal. This was for the Johnstown Area. I had no desire to go back due to the cold.

Brian,

Yes, I heard that on the new's as I left my parent's home.  It was, like 50-60 degrees all week and I was freezing.  I tried to plant a garden for them...geeze...it used to be warm in April... :(   ...then again, I came back to Florida (where I live) today and it's 90 and warm and I love it.

Sean,

I guess that mean's we are now, tried and true Floridian's.  I cannot handle the cold either. I love it here.  I guess its a Floridian personality.

EITHER, YOU LOVE IT OR YOU DON'T...:-)

Karen, I'm in northeast Ohio, about 2 miles from the lake. It's 38 degrees here tonight and today I don't think it even broke 50. We have had a very cold and wet May. I moved here on April 1st 2000, it was 82 degrees that day and humid. I thought I was gonna die! Then for the first 3 to 4 years the winters were very harsh and summers hot and humid. That's not how the weather is here anymore but where I came from has changed for the better. Seattle!!! The greenest city in the nation and not because it always rains. It use to when I was a kid but now they are having record snowfalls in the passes in the winter and have had temps up in the 90's this month and last month. For the past 3 to 4 years they have had better spring weather and summers than we have. The weather is CRAZY!!! I don't have a theory for it, just a feeling all these changes can't be good.

NJ,

Times, they are changing.  I don't think they are good either.  I just went to see my Father again last week.  It was 40 degree's at night and 60 degree's during the day...and it was May.

I remember planting a garden with my Father when I was younger the end of April...which proves my theory that the earth is rotating on it's axis and the season's are changing.

May is June and August is now September...YIKES!!!

I think everyone thinks their weather is weird.  When I lived in Tulsa, OK, the saying was: "If you don't like the weather, just wait a couple of hours and it will change."  Back in my home state of NM, guess what they say?  "If you don't like the weather, just wait a couple of hours and it will change."  The heights got snow yesterday.  I'm in the valley and we had rain and hail.  Tomorrow will be 85.  Go figure.

Alyce,

You know it.  The same here in Florida.  Tonight has been horrific.  Lightning hit the gault with such force that my friend who had some company told me it knocked them out of their chairs.

Then again, June 1st is close by and hurricane season is on the horizon....yuck...hopefully it will be ok...then again, the RE investor's are hoping it's not, so they can buy up the rest...
