Looking back to last year, my pie chart illustrates that one level and two or more storey detached homes were the most popular choices in housing styles reported sold on the "metro" Moncton area (the adjoining municipalities of Dieppe, Moncton, & Riverview). These two styles accounted for just over 50% of all freehold sales.
As of the date of this post, comparing the pie chart below representing current active listings of the same housing styles, it reveals an over supply of two or more storey homes on the market. This demand versus supply situation leads one to believe that this segement of the current market definitely favors the Buyer seeking a two storey home.
