Woodcrest Village is a 55 and over community in Westchester County, NY. It was built in 2004.

The complex consists of condominiums in a midrise building with elevators. There are 1 bedroom, 1 bath condos with 775 square feet and 2 bedroom, 2 bath units with between 1059 and 1240 square feet. Parking is in a lot and it is unassigned.

Woodcrest Village is close to railroad transportation, highways, parks, shopping, restaurants, movies and a hospital.

The condos have patios or terraces, laundry in the units and temperature controlled private storage bins. You can enjoy seeing beautiful views of woods from many of the condos. Sit on your patio or deck and have a cup of coffee, while watching stunning sunrises and relax with a glass of lemonade while seeing fabulous sunsets.

The condos are light and bright. They offer one level living which is very important to many seniors. The units have an open floor plan, so that the kitchen opens to both the dining area and the living room, making it great when entertaining. No longer is the host or hostess isolated in the kitchen while the guests enjoy visiting with each other. The host or hostess can prepare dinner and still can join the company’s conversation!

An important safety feature available in this community is a fire sprinkler system. There are intercoms so that you can determine who is interested in entering the building and deciding whether to let them in. This is a good security feature.

Amenities include a clubhouse with a kitchen, a pool, a gym, a library, a card/game room, a community room to meet your friends and make new ones, a yoga room and a party area that can be rented for your own private parties as well as used for community parties and gatherings.

Unfortunately, dogs are not allowed in this community.

One unit is under contract. It is listed at $283,440 and is a 1115 square foot, 2 bedroom, 2 bath condo.

Three condos sold so far this year. One sold for $207,500 and it is a 1 bedroom, 1 bath unit with 775 square feet. Another sold for $280,000 and is a 2 bedroom, 2 bath condominium with 1080 square feet. The third condo sold for $293,991 and it is a 1085 square foot unit with 2 bedrooms and 2 baths.

In November, 2017 a 2 bedroom, 2 bath condominium with 1240 square feet sold for $345,000.

Some condos have income restrictions and for those units there are sale price restrictions too.
