More and more sellers are turning to landscaping to help drive the buyer traffic.  With buyers now doing much of their home searching on their own before calling a Realtor, it is imperative that the curb appeal is addressed.  As buyers see a home on the internet they will most likely do a drive-by and if the the house doesn't look inviting from their car they will keep on going.

Make the beds with softer lines.  By this, I mean in the past the norm was to have straight lines and a few flowers and that was it.  Now you need to make your house stand out from the competition.  Curve the lines and add different color shrubbery with varying hieghts.  The will give you the look you are going for and it will make your house be more inviting than the rest.

Secondly, by making the front of your house look good, the buyers will carry a positive attitude in the house with them.  If the curb appeal isn't good, then they already have a negative feeling before stepping one foot in the door.

FIRST IMPRESSIONS ARE IMPORTANT!!!

Great Post and oh so true, you can't get them in the door if they don't like the outside.

Have A Great Day

Hey, David. I agree, the home needs to be picture perfect to grab your attention the first time you see it. Thanks and have a wonderful weekend, Jim.

It's more important in today's market than ever before.
