“Can You Refer a Builder?”
Hi Joe,
We apologize again for all the work and then backing out of the purchase. The home inspector showed us all the problems.
This whole exercise has been a huge learning experience and I think the biggest lesson was that for our next home, we do not want to go thru the challenge of rehab, but would prefer to do new construction.
As we have the property in Chaplin that we truly already love, it makes sense to build there to live and while doing so, since it is in a hillside, create a walk out basement apartment to go with it.
We have a drawn up plan of what we want to build and our next step will be to find builder (can you refer someone) that is dependable and trustworthy to build this for us.
As you know, we will owe under 40k shortly and feel that building the place (under 1300 sq ft one first floor)
Do you do construction loans?
Do you know dependable builders?
Let us know when you can Joe. We so appreciate you in our lives.
Wally
The construction loan business is booming. I do business with several builders and they are hiring like crazy and complaining that they can’t find enough good help.
This trend will continue for some time, especially since there are more home buyers than homes to satisfy the need.
