Want to Live Longer ... Great Ways to Relax
Living in big cities filled with traffic, people, fast passed and high technology, some of us have forgotten how to relax or lost our ways when it comes to creating free time for ourselves.
Like going for a drive in the country and away from traffic for 1-2 hours per day.
When is the last time you went for a nice long walk? If your not disabled walking is a great way to relax and shed your self from all the hustle and bustle.
How about reading a book, many books can fill our minds with knowledge. In fact this friend of mine that reads a lot suggested I go to the book store and pick up 5 books and switch off reading them everyday. Reading is a great way to relax and I'm not talking about reading on your cell phone or note ...
And here comes the tough part for so many Americans and others across the world ...
Switch your cell phones to Airplane Mode at least 3-4 hours everyday and you will find some peace of mind ;o)
This is such a tough thing for so many people to do these days, they think they are going to miss something so very important. Don't you remember when there were NO cells phones? The world kept turning and we really didn't miss anything so important within 12 to 24 hours in a day.
And all these adults that continue to whine about teenagers and children always on their cell phones when we are just like them in so many ways.
If you want to live longer and learn how to relax in this life follow some of these steps. It took me quite a while to learn how to not blog everyday, how to not login to my FB accounts, twitter and check my emails everyday, it's tough!
And the toughest of them all is turning your cell phone to Airplane Mode, in fact the first few times I did it I thought something was wrong with my phone because I wasn't getting calls and or text messages.
Everyone can do any of these items that I have posted, in fact I think I should start a (New Holiday)
TURN OFF YOUR CELL PHONES DAY
Airplane Mode = Doing so will turn off all wireless connections -- Wi-Fi, cellular and Bluetooth -- onyour iPhone. Meaning, text messages, phone calls, emails and even your Apple Watch will stop receiving notifications until Airplane Mode is turned back on.
