Speechless Sundays - Travelogue 2018 (Fort Lauderdale)
Nearly a year before our trip, Ray plans everything to a 't' - I just go along for the ride! Last month, we arrived to our beachfront hotel suite to find it 'not so' handicapped at all! There were features but, the bathroom is always the issue with a lot of hotels. This particular hotel, we hadn't expected any glitches.
We dropped off our suitcases and joined our friends for cocktails, a little shopping and later, dinner. After dinner, we went back to the hotel and asked for a different room. There was not an oceanfront handicapped room available so, since we were setting sail the next day and it was already dark, we didn't really mind.
Instead, we enjoyed this gorgeous view from our room & balcony!
I will eventually get to doing a timelapse of the moon as it fell below the horizon right before our very eyes - neither of us had ever seen that before! We were actually thrilled to have this view - had we not moved rooms, we would never had been able to sit on our balcony and watch!
