I thought it time I give an update on my goal...

TO WRITE 100 NOTES.

Originally encouraged to write notes to past customers by Kevin O'Neil, I set my goal of writing 100 hand written notes to my "sphere of influence".

I have written 43.  I have 57 to go.

It has been 11 days.

My pace is slow.  It can be a tiring job.

But I am getting better at it.

Probably like all things, the more we do the better we get.

Even with note writing.

My message seems to be getting clearer.  More concise.

Even more positive.

The more I write, the better I feel about my business.

The better my busines becomes???

I have gotten several calls over the last week from friends.  More so than usual.

Could it be from the notes?

Probably so.

So here I sit.  43 notes written.  57 to go.

I am out of stamps.  I am out of notes.

I guess I need to go to the store.

Ken, this will certainly make a difference! In my past days as a PA to a very successful real estate investor, I opened hundreds of birthday and holiday cards every year, and almost none of them had a hand-written note, which to me signified a lack of true concern over my boss' wellbeing --- and into the trash they went along with their business cards.

In this day and age, a personal note is a rare thing indeed, so you are truly making a difference in your world by setting this goal. Keep it up - and add stamps and note to your shopping list!

Hi Ken,

I assume you are still at the store and Post Office. When you return you may well be too busy with your note writing, a very positive pass time. Good to hear you have embarked on the task.

Hope you have call waiting, because those notes will generate more and more calls.

Have a great weekend.

Hey Ken,

I know that it is not handwritten but think about using Sendout Cards cost is about the same and you still put your own message in each one.  Have a Great weekend.

O'Shea 0'Neill - All those Irish people look the same to me  :)

I would go with very simple cards and not get too creative.  Something like...

Hope things are going well.  The Real Estate market has changed a little (Ha!)

Let me know if you have any questions.

All the best!
