Oil in the USA...

With oil prices shooting to over $130. a barrel it's about time we start tapping into the resources here in the USA.  I found this acticle online about a guy in Indiana who has struck oil on his property and is now in the process of setting up oil wells. http://www.marketwatch.com/news/story/indiana-entrepreneur-digs-black-gold/story.aspx?guid=%7B0917C03D%2DAEC6%2D41C8%2DA109%2D3E3C2745DAF9%7D&dist=hplatest

Gas prices are killing our economy and it will only get worse until the Gov't does something about it and soon!

leave it up the us Hoosiers to get it done.  Really, all of our success in the USA has come from people being sick and tired of dealing with our gov't

We need to be careful about getting the government involved, especially if that means price controls. We all remember what happened last time they tried that.

What we need is more drilling in Alaska, the Gulf of Mexico, off California, etc... and to build more refineries. The guy in Indiana has the right idea! Then at the same time we need to develop alternative energy sources.

I hope something changes and changes soon, this will become a society out of control if people can not afford to feed their families because they don't have enough money to put gas in the car to go to work.

Oil seems like a bargain around $120 compared to the $130 at the time you wrote this article and the 145+ it hit just a month ago, hope business is well
