It truly is and yet someone has to do it because people just can not follow the path of a group. I have five groups that I created and since then have handed one down to my business partner Rich Dansereau and a very good fried of ours Debbie Malone. That being the Wine Lovers of ActiveRain. The creation of all the groups that I have formed is not for polotical gain, or business gain, or advertising. They were created to give people a place to share about particular subjects.

Today I have finally gotten back into reviewing and commenting in these 5 groups and I have found that my moderators have been doing a great job. It is easy to tell because people make remarks of having their post deleted from the groups. In this post, I want to publically thank the Moderators for what they do and acknowledge the Thankless task (and remember, they do not get paid to do this) they have agreed to undertake.

The Moderators are listed and pictured below.

Debbie Maxwell

Rich Dansereau

Brande Bradford

Amanda Hall

Julie Neerings

Chris Fisher

And last but definately not the least,

Jim Ludes

My hats off to all of you for the wonderful jobs that you did while I was off trying to get moved. Now that things are settling back down, I look forward to working side by side with this great team.

Once again, thanks for all you do.

Glad to be able to help! The diversity of the groups you have created reflect the diversity of the people on AR and hopefully help us to connect with potential clients through common interests!

My hats off to these folks to, I have a hard time keeping up with my own stuff.  As always, you pick some great people.

Thanks Danny!  You know, when I want to feature a post, you said I just have to click the gold star... but I'm not seeing stars!  I guess I should email AR to see what's up.

Call me and I will walk you through it. The star is not gold till you click it.

Thanks DT! I do it not so much a favor to you and the group, but more because i feel like a big bad dude deleting people's non-baseball posts! HAHA

Seriously, there is one gal that posts a number of blogs there that just seem to *poof* disappear...feels like a home run every time I click that mini-trashcan....haha!

have a great weekend my friend (of what's left of it)

Jim, I went in the other day and did the same thing. I read an advertisement on an apartment in the group and also how to have a successful something or another. It makes no sense.

Hey- we're all big boys and girls...ANY group one joins here comes with a couple sentence rundown of what's accepted (or not) and welcomed....yours is as clear as any. I'm sure the other posts are very good...but if they're not baseball-related they go. My biggest pet peeve with the rain is misappropriated posts so I have no tolerance for posting improperly and have no time or desire to give warnings...."warnings" came in the form of directions for posting to the group.

Hey, I am in agreement with that. I have had my own post removed and if I question it, I usually go back and read the group description first.

A big THANK YOU to all the moderators!
