This is not a miss print!, Watching the news this morning the weather man came on to say the Mount Washington Auto Road was temporarily closed due to heavy snow fall. This is a traditional point of interest on the Memorial day weekend, driving to the top of the highest peak in the north east. The Auto road is also said to be the oldest attration in New England. Tuckerman Ravine will be skiable in to early July, and day hikers can walk up and Ski down while most of us are visiting the beach.

It's no wonder I've seen so much wild life this year, the woodland food sources (fruits & berries), are way behind. Don't talk to me about global warming it snowed here last night (last week in May).

Have a great Memorial Day Weekend everybody, and remember life's a beach!, or is it a sledding hill all down-hill and always on a slippery slope.

Betty, So far this spring it's been more of a concern with global freezing or the coming of the next ice age, but I'm sure It will get hot about a week before it starts snowing again..Thanks for visiting Steve

Steve, are you trying to say that it snows year-round, or are you taking June off as your spring/summer/fall? :)

Steve..The seasons are getting shorter or is it my memories I joke in the mountains we have 4 seasons : Ski season, Mud season, Bug season and waiting for ski season , I'm sure the state tourism department doesn't see it that way..thanks for your visit anyway :)..Steve L.
