The Columbia Marionette Theater  I know that the gray clouds make things look a little more gloomy than we want, but the fact of the matter is that really just give me a chance to explain that we all need some fun indoor activities for rainy days right? And as luck would have it, if you are looking for something fun to do with the little ones in the Columbia, SC area area that won't leave you water logged, The Columbia Marionette Theater in Downtown is just the place.

It's a theater that performs plays with puppets guys, that has to make you smile. From field trips to birthday parties, these talented ladies and gentle never fail to impress.

The Columbia Marionette Theater  My little people have been to this fine establishment several times and we have all enjoyed ourselves each and every trip. In fact, I can remember going here on a school field trip myself once when I was in middle school.

Currently Beauty and the Beast is on tap at the Marionette Theater through August 4th and then a couple more shows will round out the season throughout the rest of the year. So if you're looking for something fun and inexpensive to do on a Saturday in Columbia, SC that's kid family friendly and supports the arts, then try out the Columbia Marionette Theater. Tell them that JL sent you, they will have no idea what that means, but I have always wanted to say it.
