www.dashfly.com was started by two real estate agents seeking a way to be more productive with their time, to expand their geographic sales potential, and to keep track of their expenses. They needed an easy and efficient mapping service that would take their property addresses and then map the best route with directions in seconds. As they researched and surveyed the real estate industry, they realized that this was a much needed product -- not only for real estate professionals, but for anyone who keeps a Mapsco in their glove box.

You simply enter the addresses of up to 15 stops, in any order, click "Create Route," and Dashfly instantly provides the fastest way to all of them and back, complete with a crystal-clear map and turn-by-turn directions. Most users then print the information or email it to a mobile phone to be used throughout the day. Our most avid users, however, tell us that the most valuable feature is our mileage tracker, which keeps a running tally of all miles driven, itemized by route and address, for reporting and/or record-keeping.

Some Active Rain comments

I'll be checking it out.  I've long wished for an easy way to map out showings, or a list of past client addresses to visit.Joe Virnig, "No Ordinary Joe" (RE/MAX Gold Coast REALTORS, Ventura County, California)

I used to use Microsoft Streetmaps for this, but got tired of having to spend $30 every year to find out one month later it was already out dated and didn't have the new constructions streets in it.  Thanks for the freebie, and the saving in gas,Todd Clark (Realtor), GRI (Washington Co, Beaverton, Oregon) (Kastings & Associates, Oregon

4 Comments on A great new Mapping service designed to make real estate agents more productive

Can't wait to try this, it looks promising.  I can't do some of this on my cell phone.  Those map programs leave a lot to be desired.

I have seen this and it is very good.  However I like to use Google maps to make sure I can take my clients through the most visually appealing route.

I prefer Google Maps because it's free.  Google Maps allows you to add multiple destinations and allows you to easily re-route points to make your route more efficient.  Before you pay for a service, check out Google Maps for free.  It perfect for mapping property showings and really easy to use.  Oh, and it's free.  I understand you want to advertise the service, as you've done on every post on your blog, but I just prefer Google Maps.
