Wellllllllll, this will be my second attempt at putting together this blog post. I completely finished it, and went to save it at the bottom, and it went kaputt.... offline...grrrrrr.....

Here are some of my favorites of the remaining photos I promised I would share. After yesterday's post about our snow in Show Low, just 140 miles north and east of the Phoenix Valley, it continued to snow. I took photos until dusk, and then waited to see if there would be more this morning. Not much happened during the night, and most of the snow - gone. Can I tell you? I LOVE to take photographs of almost anything dealing with nature or with children. This was a treat for me! The weather man tells us that it snowed 9" yesterday and last night. You can see from the banister on the deck how deep it was before I signed off last evening. Enjoy our snow in Arizona - Part Two.

Notice the snow flakes floating to the ground.....

Here's the Lady in Red's car - yep, it's red alright! It was so covered with snow that you couldn't see out. See that branch? Later in the evening, my husband went out to move the car so that the branch laying on my car didn't break off and dent or ruin our pretty red car.

This is a photo from the front of our little home.. Reminds me of a Currier and Ives postcard!

This is my personal favorite!

Snow on our Deck

This morning there was at least 6 inches on the railing and on the table. All gone now, but it is still raining, occasionally hailing, and a snow flake here and there. If anything important happens - and I take photos - I'll be back tomorrow. ;-)

Teri- This is SO totally amazing Teri! Love the photos too! Did it just snow at nightfall when the weather dropped or was it cold all day?

Katerina, it is amazing. No, it snowed all day long! It was so neat. We kept standing and ooing and awing at the huge snowflakes. It was in the low 40's all day yesterday and today. ;-) Great reason to hole up! ;-) It even gets me to relax though here I am on the internet. ;-)

The snow is very pretty. I bet it was fun relaxing and watching the snow fall.

Julie, yes it is - very pretty - especially from the inside looking out. ;-)

Teri you probably don't see snow much out your way so I am sure it is a thrill but for someone who has to live through it for four long months, I am glad that Summer is almost here.

05/24/2008 02:44 PM by Bill Gassett Metrowest Massachusetts Real Estate (RE/MAX Executive Realty)

Teri -  a nice cozy fire and some yummy marshmallows & chocolate cocoa is calling my name! Be right up the mountain!! Are you there for the holiday weekend?

05/24/2008 03:20 PM by Gilbert Arizona Real Estate - Candace Robinson (HomeSmart )

Bill, you're right - and that's why it is a treat! I cannot imagine living in it for four months. We welcomed the sunshine today....and out we went. ;-)

Candace, we've been here since last Sunday - and will return home Wednesday after the Memorial Day rush. I'll be stopping by the network meeting, and then off to the dentist at 1:00.....

TERI, Isn't that fairly late for it to be snowing?  When I went to Colorado for Mother's Day it was spitting snow and that is quite late and you are supposed to be able to start planting your flowers byt mid May in Colorado.  The pictures are very nice though.

05/24/2008 09:31 PM by Marchel Peterson Spring TX Real Estate E-Pro ABR (Results Realty)

Marchel, REALLY late....our weather across the country has been very unusual. Loved taking the pictures..will print, frame and hang some of them in our little mountain home as a reminder. ;-)

I love it!  People don't conceptualize snow in Arizona - especially in May. It's been unseasonably cold in the Surprise (Sun City Grand) 55 to 65 degrees most of the day.  Thank you for the gorgeous pictures!

Leolinda, I for sure, haven't been "in" the snow for many, many years. As a result, we love it as a treat! So glad yu enjoyed the photos.

So beautiful! Gotta keep my wife away from this blog...she'll have me buying property in Arizona! (don't you dare contact her secretly! :)

05/26/2008 09:23 PM by Hemet Home Loan Guy, Joey Aszterbaum (Patrion Mortgage)

Joey, so beautiful here in Arizona. I think Hemet is beautiful as well. Why not a place in both places. ;-) It's our secret, promise! ~ unless, of course, she contacts me directly. . . and then I'll try and be very careful not to let the cat out of the bag. ;-)

Well this is a talking point for Global Warming!!  I am rather happy that we are having a slower start to the summer in the Phoenix area.  And now that I have said that out loud, expect consistent 100+ temperatures soon.

Joey, ;-) Back at ya! ;-)

Karen, don't we love our weather now? Only in the 90's........;-) Love it this evening.........;-)

Teri, I'm always amazed when you say it snows in Arizona. I've only been there a couple of times and it was extremely hot...I never even dreamed it could snow.

Your right the photo does look like something out of a postcard. Very calming effect.

What fun - to have snow and enjoy it too!  It always looks so pretty when it's fresh like that.

Gena, it would really be surprised if it snowed in Phoenix. ;-)  It has you know.....many years ago. But to get snow, even in the higher elevations, was a shocker - but fun for us. ;-)

Georgina, it was absolutely beautiful. I think those of us who don't live in the snow find it even more of a treat. ;-)

Hi Teri:  I am catching up on post reading and came across this snowy AZ one.  Holy Moly!    We experience things like this here (mts) but you don't usually associate AZ with wild-ish weather.  Pic's are beautiful!

Hi Teri: The next time this happens, when you see it's taking a long time to load, just do a copy and paste to clipboard. Then, when it finally goes kaput, you have saved it. Sometimes, you can also use the back button to recover your data. Whatever you do, don't ever click on the home button or back to home.

P.S. Love, love the snow. As long as I don't have to live in it, I LOVE it.

Why did Arizona get more snow than Portland? What happened to global warming? This just doesn't seem fair!

Before moving here we were visiting my brother-in-law one year in March or April.  They took us up to Carefree and it started snowing.  I was shocked!  We weren't that high up (I thought).

Kathy, the neat thing about our state, is that we have all sorts of options, and we never know what will come next. This was a great - and pleasant - surprise. ;-)
