The SXSW Music Festival is due to start here in Austin on March the 14th! This is the largest festival of it's kind in North America. Bands from all over the world come to Austin to Showcase their Music. http://2007.sxsw.com/
If your a music lover Austin is the place to be from March the 9th to March the 18th. More than 1300 bands will play in the festival. That doesn't even account fo the bands that are here anyway. so there will be several thousand bands in all playing. Every bar and music venue in Austin will have continous music.
High level music executives will be amongst the crowds listening for the next stars. this is the reason all the bands come...is for the chance at Stardom!
