It's Memorial Day Weekend and there are so many things to do in the North Lake Tahoe - Truckee area.
On your list of fun things to do should be to check out the Made in Tahoe Festival - Squaw Valley May 26 – 27 2018 event this weekend at the Village at Squaw Valley!
Our weather will be cool this weekend with temperatures in the high 40's to low 50's and there is also the possibility of thunderstorms.
You'll need to dress in layers and to be prepared for changing weather conditions as this event is held outside in the walk-ways along the Village buildings.
I like this local event as the items sold are either made in the local Lake Tahoe Basin - greater Truckee area, or they are inspired by our local beauty.
You'll find this local festival will have over 100 different vendors, organizations, and businesses. It is loaded with arts, crafts, exhibits, music, entertainment, and over 15 local food and drink vendors, in addition to the Village restaurants, bars, and shops to choose from!
The annual Made in Tahoe event will give you the chance to shop local and enjoy being up here in the North Lake Tahoe area.
It's a great way to find that special gift for that hard-to-please loved-one, or a way to treat yourself along with supporting Tahoe artisans and businesses!
Along with shopping the vendors, you’ll also enjoy a variety of local music all day long, and you'll a variety of dining and beverage options too.
The Made in Tahoe event is a great way to kick-off your holiday weekend and it is your opportunity to enjoy one of the first outdoor festivals of the season.
If you don’t have plans for this holiday weekend, think about making a last minute drive up to the Lake Tahoe area and check out the two day event Made in Tahoe Festival this Saturday and/or Sunday, May 26-27, 2018 at the Village at Squaw Valley.
You’ll find jewelry, paintings, pottery, glassware, clothing, and so much more! You never know what you'll find at our local fairs and festivals so you won't want to miss this one.
