I met this sweet sweet boy, Maroon, on Wednesday 5/23/2018 while having a grand time networking at the Greater Seattle Business Association's Power Connect: South. He's up for adoption through Burien C.A.R.E.S. (Community Animal Resource & Education Society). His person had to give him up in a domestic violence situation. I've promised my son I'll never get a pet without my son's participation, or the little guy might have come home with me immediately. CARES # is 206-81-CARES. If that adorable face isn't melting your heart, I dare you to go to Burien CARES or another shelter, any reputable shelter that's convenient for you, and find one which does!
This is networking at its finest - not always, in fact maybe never, about shaking hands, exchanging business cards or trying to close a deal. Just about getting to know people, their passions, their personalities. And their furry friends.
