Take
Time to Honor All Of The Men and Women Who Have Served And Those That
Are Serving To Keep Us Free Right Now!
On this holiday
weekend I hope we will all to take a moment to honor our military
personnel. Without their sacrifices we would not be able to
enjoy this or any other weekend in the freedom that we sometimes take
for granted. As a child of the 1960's I grew up in a time of
political upheaval that caused our fine young men and women who
answered the call of service to return home to a country that was so
against the war that the sacrifices they had made were swept away in
anger and sometimes embarrassment. We can not allow the young
men and women who serve us today to feel shame for what they are doing.
Support our troops even if you can't understand or support
the mission. If not for them we would not have the right to
disagree with our government.
My family will
be marching in a Memorial Day Parade in Waldwick, NJ with our Civil War
Reenacting Unit. We will be honoring the men and women that
have served our country throughout our grand history and those who
continue to serve us today. I urge you all to find some way
to honor your local heroes during this time of remembrance.
Hurray For The USA!
