George Souto - Ditto! Companies that sell appliances make it so easy to persuade buyers to take out a warranty plan and they always wait until the very end when you're at the cashier to make that offer. I know for me, I didn't even have time to think about it or review the plan, it was pretty much, take it now or you're not entitled later on.

But now I know, there are great local appliance companies willing to do a great job for consumers, less the stress, and time involved in just getting the Warranty Company to 1) acknowledge you have a plan, 2) won't reject your claim, 3) won't tell you it's cosmetic without even sending anyone out to look, at the appliance, etc. George for weeks I went through hell with that Warranty Company. 

Pegasus came through with flying colors and I highly recommend them!

Debbie Reynolds - Thank you! Pegasus was the equivalent of a homeowners Fairy Godmother. They made magic happen and I am so grateful for their exemplary services! It really does pay to shop locally and not depend so much on warranty companies. 

Nina Hollander - Finding a Miele Specialist would be difficult in most cities. Thank goodness the product is designed well at the factory. But when something happens, you want the best services, not the run around. 

In my case, my induction burner caught fire and the warranty company told me, it was cosmetic. I just about went through the roof! Worst of all, even when I got the Supervisor on the phone and my claim was approved, the two companies before Pegasus made appointments and never showed up. They were difficult companies to work with. Finally, the Warranty Company got me Pegasus and they delivered excellent services. I'm a happy cooker now!

But you know, it shouldn't have gotten that far. 

Amanda S. Davidson - You can believe, I will refer Pegagus to my clients. They really didn't even have to go above and beyond, they just did it right, right from the start. And that's the way Customer Service should be.

Brian England - I agree. When you find the right providers for excellent services, they are keepers and you want to support them and keep them in business, growing successfully! I am definitely going to support Pegasus Appliances in Dallas. 

Nina Hollander - Something I noticed in Europe was high end appliances. Automobiles were the same. When I made mention of that to my son-in-law, he said, "Europe takes great pride in making quality products designed to last." I believed him, and I believe in you too. He also said, America is known as a disposable country. Then he went on to talk about the big difference in recycling, but I won't go into all that. 

I quit my home warranty many years ago. When I purchased my kitchen appliances it came with a warranty; then I paid for the extended warranty when I got notice that the protection plan was nearly over. I remember debating, should I or shouldn't I? I guess it was a good thing I took out the plan, because even though I had to go through all the stress, they finally put me in touch with a reputable company, Pegasus. From now on, I would go directly through them, or insist the warranty company approves my claim using Pegasus.

Debb Janes EcoBroker and Bernie Stea JD - I found out they were on Facebook and gave them a high rating there too. Almost instantly, they thanked me. I sent them the link to blog post and they were really happy! In addition, right after the Appliance Specialist left my house, I called the office and verbally gave high praises. A.J. was quick to return my call and told me I really made his day. Most customers, wouldn't do that. He was very sincere too. I most definitely will continue to sing praises for their outstanding customer services. 

Lise Howe - There's something wonderful about people who can use their brain to problem solve, their mouths to ask the right question before giving snarky remarks, and listen to what the Customer has to say, are ones I greatly admire and respect. As you say, they are a "treasure!" 

I also wish there were more good local repair companies, especially in your area too!
