This weekend in Aurora there will be an event worth attending. The Design After Dark fundraiser put on by the Aurora art museum is happening this Saturday June 9. It will be at the MicNichol’s Civil Building in Aurora District. This event should span from 11:00am to 9:00pm. Many of the most popular ones and several of the lesser known up and coming ones will have exhibitors. There will be a wide range of innovative one of a kind objects for the silent auction. This is your chance to own something tally unique. Past silent auctions have had single issue pieces of art or formations for lawns or backyards. We have seen some truly creative and unique physical 3D art, perfect for hanging or adorning a corner of a room. There will be themed food and drink provided at no charge to you throughout the exhibitions. There is always a promise of an unforgettable setting and entertainment. All the ticket sales will go to the Aurora Art Museum’s department of architecture design and graphics. Tickets come in a $40-$75 range, depending on how much you would like to donate.
