THIS MUST BE TRUE – I HAVE HEARD IT FOR OVER 30 YEARS
It can’t be fake news, because 10, 20, 30 years ago fake news had not been invented. There is that small percentage of homes that leave the market UNSOLD EVERY MONTH!
In Phoenix that is around 500, just about month after month.
Even today during a low inventory and a wonderful positive market.
You see houses, that are not marketed correctly, that are priced incorrectly, and a few other things just do not sell!
It is some what like the difference of opinion of the Democrats versus the Republicans.
You seldom can convince a Democrat that Trump is making great accomplishments and changes like never before.
Often a home that leaves the market unsold will be listed with the next agent, and it will sell, because some things the agent does that the other agent did not do.
The second agent may even raise the price or lower it, and will market it better and differently.
I have met and had cross transactions with thousands of real estate agents.
My thinking that difference in the 20% of agents who sell 80% of homes versus the 80% of agents who sell 20% of the homes…
That latter group do not see the fun, and joy, the opportunity to serve, and provide value to the client.
The smaller group of agents, most of them, see this as an opportunity to provide value and they enjoy the fact they do not have to punch a time clock five day a week.
By the way in many cases that other group, they have a REAL JOB, other than real estate.
In many cases thousands of agents just do this as a hobby.
That is horrible, we are messing with thousands of $ of a clients money.
Would you employ a part time attorney, doctor, or psycholgolist, or someone like that just because they were a friend?
The desire to enjoy this line of work, as totally different from other work and enjoy it so much, they just do it.
Oh, not every day, week, or month is a bed of roses. But there are so many times THAT ARE a bed of roses, they overlook, they days that are not a bed of roses.
