This week the median list price for Beverly Hills, CA 90210 is $6,095,500 with the market action index hovering around 27. This is about the same as last month's market action index of 27. Inventory has held steady at or around 200. Now keep in mind when inventory is holding steady that means for every property that is sold one is replaced by a new listing. Hence the Status Quo is maintained.
So, what is the Market Action Index you might ask me?
The Market Action Index answers the question "How's the Market?" by measuring the current rate of sale versus the amount of the inventory. Index above 30 implies Seller's Market conditions. Below 30, conditions favor the buyer.
