As I sit at my computer at my office at www.recr.comwishing I had an espresso IV drip, I was thinking to myself....I wonder how many other of my bretheren out there are working this weekend. So, primarily because misery loves company, I just want validation that I am not the only one taking time away from my family to make sure that Im providing for the same.
Anyone else out there "working for the weekend?" Share your pain, as it were. :-)
This job never allows for a day off! I hope to keep a balance between family and work...

You are not alone. I am about to head out to go over a lease/purchase agreement with my seller. Sunday aand Monday I am showing homes. Somewhere in all this I will make time for a little family fun.
Rob -- Yeah, I have a clean slate set up for Sunday afternoon and Monday for the family. My wife is a paralegal...and she has Monday off. So, it will work out for me in the long run anyway. Enjoy your time with the family! Have a good weekend...and best of luck with your showings!

Clint, I have three inspections scheduled this weekend, two today and one of Sunday. I enjoy helping people achieve their dreams and it's funny how the banks count every day during their ten day inspection time limit, yet they don't count the same days when you need something from them. Clint. I love the weekends myself. But today I came into the office because my family was having a yard sale. Not my favorite thing. I took advantage of it by being available for those Memorial weekend shoppers to get pre-qualified. No calls of course. But, I have got to clear up a few issues with my website and do some blogging. I still plan on being here another hour or so. Then I will go home and dig a hole. I have a new flag pole to set and I sure would like to raise the Flag on Monday Morning.

I worked yesterday. Today I should be working on my newsletter, but I have been goofing off in my garden, and online. I did just join up on showingfeedback.com today - I guess that qualifies as work. Tomorrow it's biz as usual - meeting a client and looking at properties. Make hay while the sun shines I always say.

Duane -- Ahh, I got off lucky. I only had to work on Saturday. I spent Sunday and Monday cleaning my house since the weather sucks. So, I got off easy. Unless you count housework...
