Sisu, a Reading Education Assistance Dog, will be available for children to read to on the first Tuesday of the month from 4:00 pm. Sisu is a standard poodle and LOVES listening to children read. Children may read for 15 minutes and it is on a first come first serve basis. For more information about the READ dog, contact the Children’s Library at 838-0606.

KMOT-TV is your election leader for this year's big races, and you'll have a chance to meet with and hear from some of the candidates exactly a week before the election!
Join KMOT-TV in a special election forum Tuesday, June 5th, from 5-7 p.m. at the Sleep Inn and Suites in Minot. We're hosting the three candidates vying to be Minot's next Mayor, along with the six candidates running for Minot City Council. The candidates will each offer some thoughts about themselves, why they're running, and how they want to make a difference in the Minot community. Guests will have the chance to ask the candidates questions as well.
The event is free and open to the public. Refreshments provided. The Sleep Inn and Suites is located at 2400 10th Street SW in Minot, next to the Dakota Square Mall.
