Busy Saturday in Blowing Rock, NC

Evidently the gas prices didn't keep everybody home. Blowing Rock is active and there are people everywhere! Had two walk ins already that are pretty serious about finding some investment property, so I helped them out first, and now it is time to post some pics that I took on the way in on the Blue Ridge Parkway.

The weather, although sunny here right now, looked a little drab at my house. Because of our location on the SouthEastern side of the edge of the Blue Ridge Mountains, we get some very cool weather. Driving in, the clouds from the "flat lands" (4000 feet below) were coming up the Blue Ridge and getting vaulted into the sky.

You did it again, Partner! They are beautiful. I'm glad the gas prices are not keeping people home. It was 98 degrees here yesterday and it will be at least 94 tomorrow. Doesn't make you want to be outside for sure. Wish I were in the mountains. At least the photos make me remember when!

Hey Becky! I hope you had a good holiday as well! I caught up on lots of "lost work". But I did get some kill pictures of Grandfather Mountain and Price Lake.....in one shot. I will try to get posted for you to see tomorrow, I think you will like it.
