Can you stand up to say thank you?

These are two of the important things in my life. God is number one and I am proud to say I would share Him with you. As we in the real estate industry work to assist people to follow dreams of owning their own home, we do so because there are people serving in our military to protect the freedoms we use.

This post goes out to everyone with one thought in mind, to stand up and say thank you for those who are currently serving, those who have served, and those who have died serving. Without these people we would not be able to freely discuss, work, play, or worship.

My first thank you goes out to my father and brother who have served willingly then to each one I come into contact with either in person or over the internet.

Thank you for your service and sacrifice.

One of the ways I choose to do this is to post three videos that will say it for me.

The first one is Lee Greenwood singing about being proud to be an American

The second one is The Star Spangled Banner as sung by Texas' own Cactus Cuties

The third one is a tribute in song and pictures with the song sung by Aaron Tippin

Please acknowledge these people in any way you can to tell them THANK YOU!

Wayne, what a wonderful Memorial Day tribute. I've always loved Greenwood's song, "I'm Proud To Be An American." Even though I'm from Texas, I never had the opportunity to see the Cactus Cuties. They are so cute and talented. Liked the last video also. I look forward to reading more of your posts.

Roberta I called all the ones I knew who had or are serving in any way yesterday and what a blessing I got from it. Most of them said they were just doing their job and didn't deserve anything extra. It gave me the opportunity to tell them how much our freedom meant. Thanks for your comment.

Marko & Duane I want to say thank you to yoiu guys for your comment but more for the freedoms we share. I guess days like these and the value of our country means a lot to me. I tried to sign up when I turned 18 and was not able as I had to many injuries. Some of my best friends in high school and college never came home and those that did, some could not make it in life and ended up taking their own life. I am proud to be an American and to have friends such as you to share this with.
