Video of Last Night's Thunderstorm in Denver

By
Real Estate Agent with Resident Realty FA.100079118

During the late spring and summer in Denver, we get regular, and often dramatic, thunderstorms rolling through on their way to the plains states. Last night was no exception. I set up my Canon DSLR to capture some of the lightning strikes on video.

I slowed the video down a little so the sound was taken off, but check it out if you like storms.

BTW you will probably be able to tell that this video was edited, it wasnt just strike after strike, I just cut out all of the boring bits between the lightning strikes.

The video quality isn't the best, so if you do a lot of video, especially storms and night video, I'd love to hear from you what camera you use and what settings you use as well.

Pretty cool & terrifying at the same time Kevin. The horizontal lightning was really neat but I don't want to close to horizontal, vertical or whatever lightning...ever

Agreed Debe, I was glad it was off in the distance a little bit and not really overhead.
