We all know when taking a shower, it gets steamy and warm in the bathroom, but does it really require a ceiling fan? There was a fan in the bathroom, and had never seen a ceiling fan in a bathroom. This was a first while showing homes!

That is weird, I saw the one Evelina put of a chandelier here in this area that is getting more and more popular with the upscale homes.

This is a first for me as well, Joan. I don't like the look of the fan, just get a good exhaust fan!

Joan Cox I see them more and more often...but in larger bathrooms. They move the air better than an exhaust fan.

I think unless you're going to air dry you don't need that type of fan in your bathroom. Maybe a candelabra would be a better choice Joan...

Evelina, we on occasion see the tub in the shower also, not sure who thought this was a good idea!
Not a fan - no pun intended. :) It doesn't look good and it makes me wonder if they used the waterproof style - is that steamy environment okay for the motor, etc. ???

Elizabeth, it DOES get hot in the bathroom while blowdrying our hair, but still would not put in a ceiling fan.
Yolanda, we see chandeliers in the luxury price range, and sometimes over master bedrooms too. Just not these ceiling fans in smaller bathrooms.
