i love Tudors.  I grew up in one and I guess it "sticks." I was lucky enough to find a Tudor gate house to live in. I just love the style and character of them.

Jason -  it really is a beautiful home.  It not only has hardwood flooring, but lots of rich woodwork as well.  The sound of the birds in the nearby trees are a joy to listen to!  I always keep the back door open to the screened in porch so I can listen to them while I am doing an open house.

Ruthmarie - I just subscribed to your blog yesterday, but haven't had time to comment yet.  I grew up in Riverdale, and love your posts about Westchester.  I worked at various stores at Cross County when I was growing up, and frequented Tibbetts Brook park.  I also grew up in a Tudor and have a special fondness for them.  Thanks for stopping by!
