I love looking at flowers. Maybe it is because they are so small and their petals are so delicate. Maybe, it is the colors that attract my eyes just like they attract the butterflies. Whatever it is, one must agree that flowers bring a smile to everyone's face. It's like they have a magic in them that can turn a bad attitude or a bad day into something much lighter, brighter and peaceful.
The sheer beauty of flowers varies so much. Even the same colors have different hues like these two purple flowers. My husband doesn't get as excited as I do when a bloom finally opens. However, the more I point them out to him, the more he seems interested. I think watching the flowers grow is good for the soul.
This bumble bee likes this purple one too.
In our busy hurry up world, flowers just seem to take their time. Maybe, that slows us down, when we watch the flowers grow.
What does this have to do with real estate, you may ask? Having been in this business for almost forty years, there are times when one must slow down. The mind and emotions demand it. If you want to be effective in sales, and especially in negotiating, you must have a clear mind and be focused. Taking a break and enjoying flowers even briefly, can restructure your thoughts in a way that solutions are now able to be seen.
Has this ever happened to you? The solution is right there in front of you, but you could not see it? A little break sometimes, is what is needed. So, take time to watch the flowers grow!
