Father’s Day is Sunday and to all of the fathers, grandfathers, uncles, and father figures I wish you a Happy Father’s Day.

Thank you for weekends grilling for the whole family, for teaching us how to ride a bike, and then how to drive a car.

Thank you for showing us how to throw a football and playing catch with us even when you really wanted to sit and chill.

To my dad who taught me how to drive; and how to take a good picture; who could talk about almost any subject and always had a smile on his face…

Hi Kathy: I didn't have a father growing up. Well, he was in my life until I was 13, but he wasn't a father. He was an alcoholic who beat his wife and children. So Father's Day carries no significance to me apart from the fact I survived.

However, I am happy to see the 180 on Father's taking place in the world today. Out pushing baby carriages, cleaning up cat puke, stuff dads did not do in the 1950s.

He has two daughters and always takes a trip with just one of them. He also goes out to dinner with just one as well. I do like seeing how much the fathers of today get involved.
