Homemade Pizza is Better!

My husband oooed and ahhhed when I put this platter in front of him.  Yes, he loves pizza and when I told him I was making homemade pizza, he kinda turned up his nose at the thought of it.  But when he saw this one, it was a different story.

Homemade pizza

True, I like healthy food and try to incorporate nutritious things in everything I cook.  So, my husband who prefers meat and potatoes is always skeptical when I try something new on him.  If it's been a while, it's new :)

This night he loved my new creation.  I like to use Naan Bread but I don't always find it in my stores.  I bought this at Sam's and it is very good.  Cover it in pizza sauce, your own or store bought will do.  Add pepperoni, salami, onion, diced garlic, roma tomatoes, pepperoncini, and any spices you like.  I like lots of oregano, basil, and this night I used some greek seasoning too.  Cover it with shredded mozarella and add a touch of sharp cheddar for a tangy taste.  Cook in a hot oven until bubbly and brown around the edges.

It was super good.  I added some red pepper flakes and parmesan at the end.Salt and pepper to taste if it's not spicy enough.  Easy to make and quick.  He doesn't want take out any longer.

Hi Jeff Dowler,   Thank you.  I love pizza too and you can add whatever ingredients you want, so it really is a versatile dish.

Hey William Feela,  I imagine you are not fussy about hardly anything.  People probably love working with you in real estate.  Your rural area brings a slower pace and natural relaxation.  That's what I like about the country too.  Give me small towns any day compared to big cities!

Oh Yes,  that's the best part "the creations are endless!"  Next time my brother visits, it's a fix it yourself pizza dinner.  Should be fun!
