"The best use of imagination is creativity.  The worst use of imagination is anxiety."

-Deepak Chopra

The real estate business is chock full of surprises that leave us wondering "Now What?"  If there is a commission check on the line that you are counting on it can create a deep sense of anxiety.

Do you know how to avoid anxiety and panic in your real estate life?

First of all, don't EVER get yourself in a position that you HAVE to have that commission check.  This creates anxiety and is a recipe for disaster.  You will be tempted to do things you shouldn't and could lose your license for doing.

Secondly, always stay calm and figure out a solution to the problem.  If there just isn't an equitable, moral and legal solution, let it go and move on.

Thirdly,  Have a backup plan.  This goes along with the second point but focuses on never getting yourself backed into a corner if Plan A doesn't work.  If you NEED the money, you also need to be looking for another source of income until your business is self-sustaining. There is nothing worse than the anxiety of not being able to pay your bills.  Don't get yourself in that position.

These same tips work for all situations in life.  Stay calm and figure out a solution.  If there is no viable solution, tactfully move on.

Keep anxiety at bay with a reasonable, reliable Plan B or be prepared to say "NEXT".
