Liz, I live in a tiny house 10 minutes from downtown ... I need that driveway and garage ... I especially want the views... I'll take it, if you can move Hope River here, along with the house...  :)

Hey Sylvie......I'd love to live 10 min from downtown!  I have th garage and views......and would trade it for d/t living .....funny how that is no?  :-)

The grass is always greener on the other side, I guess. :)   We have to sacrifice space/parking, for being as close to downtown as we are; but I can't see myself living anywhere else; unless it has a water view :)

Sylvie  Yes being by the ocean would be my first choice! I've had 2 waterfront homes in my life time, and one with a fab ocean view - theres nothing like it!

Ocean - don't I wish.  Here, I have Lake Ontario a few minutes away, but it's 'dead' water.  I want to SEE WAVES and SMELL the salt. :)  I'm going to have to come visit you one of these days - soon... (The last time I smelled the ocean was about 6 years ago, in New Brunswick.  I still have that 'picture' in my head. I could have watched it forever.  (this is making me sad and making me aware that I haven't had a vacation in almost 3 years.)

I have a deal threatening not to close today. Wish me luck. I need vacation money :)

Sylvie! Oh yes I do wish you luck!  You take it all the way to the edge and then it 'teeters!' :-( Yes the smell of salt air....the waves!  Its so soothing and therapeutic........I'm 45 min. from the ocean here - and find I hardly ever go........I have a lake 10 min. away and I hardly ever go...:-(  We did go to Hawaii in November though and I sucked it in then!
