Several Saturdays ago as we were heading to our car after the Farmers Market, we spotted this four seat Ferrari convertible. The owner noticed our interest and told us, he had found the car in Philadelphia and had it shipped to Beverly Hills, and there were only 100 left in the world.
He also let us know that it was originally owned by Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell, and the back seat was for the kids. His tale reminded us of a fun old movie, 1964, The Yellow Rolls Royce. It told the story of the three owners of the car.
It made us think how provenance adds value to inanimate objects including real estate and how proud people are of that fact. Who knows there may be a movie in the owner's future! After all, he is real estate!
Happy Wednesday
