YouTube Thursday - Still Not Having Fun with Videos? Why Not?
If you haven't followed some of Debb Janes EcoBroker and Bernie Stea JD tips on making videos, why not?
YouTube Thursdays - Just for Fun Videos
Last week, we encouraged you to have some fun with videos. First, taking the time to consider topics that matter to the core clients in your niche. Not only are you building a library of entertaining videos, you are showcasing a bit of your own personality - as well as the non-real estate related amenities in your marketplace. Plus, if it's fun, and of interest, you're likely to find it easier to get it done.
As with all video production, you need to remember the basics. Steady camera work ( no shaking and fast panning, please), decent lighting and audio (if applicable) - and a simple editing program.
We don't need to be full-time movie producers to create decent videos, either. Here are a few examples I've chosen from recent YouTube Thursdays posts. Hope they inspire you to have a little fun with videos.
Have you ever got up close and personal with a snail? Well, now is your chance. Gayle Rich-Boxman Fishhawk Lake Real Estate knows her Fishhawk Lake core client appreciates Nature - and most likely critters too. Her fascination with this slow-moving snail is going to be shared with like-minded people - and create connections. ( The only thing I'd add, Gayle, is a closing title to reinforce you - and your wonderful Fishhawk Lake Brand.)
We really fell in love with this magical setting in Sedona. Sheri Sperry - MCNE® and her husband are both talented photographers and they have been really active building their video library this year. The natural sound of the creek is the perfect audio accompaniment for this video. Sedona Lifestyle appears on the screen at times, but we'd still love to see a closing title with Sheri's contact information - and Brand.
Here's another of Sheri's videos we just had to include today. Who knew there was a monsoon season in sunny Sedona? Do you have unusual weather events in your area too? Notice the links and call to action at the end of this video. We think it's a smart addition.

ViewHomes™ grew out of our passion for nature, beautiful surroundings, and peaceful environments. Starting together in an urban environment, over the years we've gravitated towards areas with smaller populations and less density. We now enjoy our lifestyle in a rural environment, but with close proximity to metropolitan areas where we appreciate all the amenities of fine restaurants, shopping, and an easy drive to an international airport.
Living in ViewHomes™ is like having “elbowroom for the soul”.
