Hot-Hot-Hot in Sacramento

Myrl it is still very pleasant here in CT, but the heat will be rolling in this week.

Hi Myrl- we just returned from another walk. It is 7:16 and 84 degrees out (feels like 97) Your squash looks picture perfect and in fact, the whole layout is staged to perfection. 

HI Myrl Jeffcoat - What a lovely image. I can see all the thought that went in to the staging right down to the frame. Fabulous!

It was stinkin' hot yesterday, and I had to go out in that heat to view a potential listing in Midtown. We were upstairs, and I told the seller, it's too hot up here, let's go downstairs. He wasn't even phased by the heat. My husband, on the other hand, has planted a pretty good garden in our yard. Mostly cucumbers and tomatoes so far.  Last year we grew way too much squash, so none this year. Trade ya.

I've been craving squash since I saw your post on Facebook.  It's on my list to get at Whole Foods tomorrow.  

Myrl, I think you'll be enjoying a delicious feast this evening! 

We had our first bloom today Myrl Jeffcoat . It won't be long and we will be up to our elbows in them .

Nothing beats fresh veggies from the garden. I have tomatoes and basil from my patio garden. Congrats on the squash. Your photo is vibrant.

That looks like it is worth the heat and now I must make something with squash.

Myrl, how wonderful to have a thriving, healthy garden.  The squash looked so yummy and I could just imagine how tasty once prepared and served.  I still remember your photos of your 2017 garden.  

Beautiful photo, Myrl! I thought it was a bit too early for hot weather in Sacramento. At least it cools down in the evenings, I believe.

Oh my gosh, those look divine, Myrl! I know what you mean about the heat - we're experiencing the same thing here in Charlotte. I hope you stay cool and enjoy cooking up something spectacular with those wonderful treats from Mother Nature!

 I am ready for cool everyone was complaining about the cold here this winter but not me I knew I would be complaining about the heat and humidity! I am ready for fall if you want to call it a fall!

Those are beautiful little squash!  We are not able to pull them off due to unwanted bugs, but can grow other things instead.  I hope you find homes for them all. lol

I'm about to start dinner and that squash looks delicious Myrl...
