Another Speechless Sunday - Cat Days of Summer


Yeah, I can't ever resist snapping a photo of my Queen Charlotte! She rules the roost in our house and always seems to position herself on the 'cushiest' of places. The rest of us were out watering the garden and weeding the raised garden only to return inside to find the Queen on her throne for the day!

Why go outside in this heat when you can stay on the soft blanket inside a cool, air conditioned home, right?! Smart kitty!

No, she's as normal as cats come in the 'demanding' department but, I have to say, she's also very 'dog-like' - she greets guests and she's uber-friendly to people, JL Boney, III! I suppose her subjects wore off on her! LOL

Great photo, yes when it is hot the place to be is inside in the cool. Max and Sam though like to be with us when we are working in the yard, as long as we are not mowing or using power tools all that noise is a good rewason to hide away in the cool shade or inside in the cool house.
