Brazilian Steakhouse Night at the Four Seasons Resort, Wailea Maui

Have you ever tried one of those Brazilian Steakhouse events that are becoming popular these days?  The Four Seasons Resort in Wailea Maui is now offering this on Friday nights, at their Duo Steak and Seafood Restaurant at the pool level.  I had the opportunity to try it out with a group of YELPers.  It's indoor/outdor seating with a view of the pool and the sunset, in an oceanfront setting.  We were treated royally, as you would expect from a 5-star hotel on Maui.

Fresh market table at Duo Steak and Seafood, Four Seasons Maui

About a dozen of us gathered in the evening to feast on a variety of smoked and barbecued meats, fresh market salads, and a tower of delectable seafood.  We all got to try some new foods and meet new friends. 

For starters there's a fresh salad bar along with some mini salad offerings, cheeses and cured meats, and a variety of breads.  Help yourself, and when you're done they'll start serving the meat course from gigantic skewers at the table.

The meat servers just kept coming around to tempt us with mouth watering treats like: leg of lamb; smoked pork belly chunks; bacon wrapped chicken, artisan sausage; top sirloin "picanha", and more. Drinks, starters, meats, seafood, dessert - it was a lot of good food and nobody went away unsatisfied.

The Seafood Tower includes oysters, poke, ceviche, prawns, crab and lobster!

If you live in Hawaii you can get the Kama'aina discount of 20% off the already low price of $67.  Considering it's all you can eat barbecued meats and salad bar, it's a pretty good deal!
