I do not know who started this or when they first named July 15 as ," Cow appreciation  day ' I just read it in the carrier Pigeon , a monthly free magazine that I receive. Check out www.theuptightsuburbanite.com. It is interesting to see that they have something for each day of the month of July,'

Hi Gita,  I had no idea it was National Cow Appreciation Day.  We showed our appreciation for cows by making homemade ice cream.  It really was quite delicious.  We really appreciated it and the cows that supplied the milk.
