I do not know who started this or when they first named July 15 as ," Cow appreciation day ' I just read it in the carrier Pigeon , a monthly free magazine that I receive. Check out www.theuptightsuburbanite.com. It is interesting to see that they have something for each day of the month of July,'
should everyone go out and hug a cow or maybe tip a cow? LOL - today is also free ice cream day - I wonder if there is a connection?

Good morning Gita. Does this mean we should eat a steak today or not?

Good afternoon Gita - as I recall there are still quite a few cows to appreciate in Bucks County.

Hi Gita, I had no idea it was National Cow Appreciation Day. We showed our appreciation for cows by making homemade ice cream. It really was quite delicious. We really appreciated it and the cows that supplied the milk.
I like the way that Bob Crane celebrated. I will take Chef Dolores out for some ice cream at Bruster's.
