The FLIP Video camera may end up becoming my new choice for Video Blogging my personal ramblings. This time I strapped the FLIP to my GPS with a few rubber bands since I received so much concern over using the cameras while driving. My Sony HC-38 is a great camera but it is big and bulk compared to the FLIP.

Flip Video Camera in my Car

While this works well to give you a hands free video for safe driving, the bumps of the road get translated to the camera. I will play around with this more and see how I might dial it in. Below is a link to a Video blog post I did using this technique. This is in response to a Trulia Voices question regarding flipping houses in Thousand Oaks California. Loved the video Ted!  I went ahead and ordered a FLIP video camera from Costco.  Great price - only $119.

Ted, You articulate your thoughts very well - even when driving.  I was wondering how I could get a flip video camera attached in my car - there is nothing to attach it to.

Irina,

Once you get the camera......USE IT!!!!  It is a little intimidating at first, but the more you used it the more comfortable you will get.  Thanks fot eh tip on the lower price.

Leolinda,

Thanks for the kind and warm comments.  My other thought was to use one  of those suction cup note pads for cars and use the rubber bands to hold it on something like that.

Great video, Ted. I got a Flip Video a week or so ago too. I've been trying to remember to use it. Seems like it's kind of hard to get in and out of the neoprin belt case quickly, but it's pretty simple to use.

Ted - What a great idea - Let us know how this works out.  I just ordered my Flip video on Amazon - can't wait to use :)

Ted - Check out the Gorilla video mount.  You will like them.  Here is a blog I wrote a couple months back that has a photo.
