I was recently discussing Disney World in Orlando with a friend of mine as my wife and I took our children for the first time earlier this year. He wanted to know what I thought of the place since it was the first time I had been as well. I described the experience with the picture above. This was our first day and we were at the Magic Kingdom. My wife received a phone call and while talking our 5 year old daughter, Bug, laid on the rock she was leaning on, put her head on my wife's hand, and fell asleep. Exhausted is the word I think.
It's been many years, too many years, since I've been. We just bought a travel trailer and a trip to Disney is on my wish list!
LOVE this picture.
I've been there and I know that exhaustion. LOL

That is a hilarious scene, JL. I can remember taking my kids to Disneyland the first time, and planning for a nap mid-day at the hotel. BUT, my kids were so wound up that they didn't fall asleep until after 10:00 PM.

JL- omg that is one of those Kodak moments, isn't it? Larry used to build in Celebration so we had passes to Disneyworld whenever we wanted. I loved seeing families with wee ones around 3 in the afternoon after spending most of the day there. All of the kids were just like your Bug and the parents looked like they were totally zonked of any energy.
