The 4th annual Downtown Torrance Artwalk takes place this Saturday with 16 retail establishments including art galleries, retail shops and restaurants participating in a fine art walking tour in the first commercial district of Torrance. There will be local artists from the South Bay area showcasing their works, while engaging in conversation with local art lovers. Even local area restaurants will also be joining in the fun with specials from Torrance Bakery, Tortilla Cantina, The Depot and more. Red Car Brewery will also be participating with adult beverages to enjoy. So stop by and pick up a walking map from The Depot Restaurant located at 1250 Cabrillo Ave., Torrance.
The City of Lomita will be having their annual Founder’s Day Celebration this Saturday at Lomita Park, located at 24428 Eshelman Avenue. Bring the family to enjoy face painting, video game trucks, carnival games, laser tag and much more. There will be live bands, and a dj for all to enjoy. Various food trucks will be on site from 4 till 9 p.m. for purchases. There will be a fireworks show starting at 9:00 p.m.
