Tomorrow when you are gathering together with your family and friends take time to give thanks to the Lord for the Men and Women in our military that are holding watch for us.  They serve our country so that we can live in a free country.  Many times we don't stop and thank them like we should. Pray to the Lord for their safety and well being.  Pray for our leaders in this country for wisdom.  We have been living in perilous times.  Don't forget the families that were snuffed out by terrorists on 9/11/2001.  The country rallied together.  It can rally again.  When you see the American Flag displayed in peoples yards and all over tomorrow stop and reflect.  Our country was founded on wonderful principles, don't forget that.  If you haven't read the constitution lately take the time to read it.  How we forget.

From one patriot to another. God Bless America and God Bless You All!

Amen Sister!  We had an awesome tribute today at our church.  I lived through 911 on Long Island, I now live in Florida.  I hope folks wake up and realize the peril that our forefathers have averted and not give in to the enemies of our land.

I salute all my fellow fallen soldiers and thank them from the bottom of my heart!!!

Hi Charlene -- thanks for your thoughts!

Happy Memorial Day to you and yours.  Let me say in tribute to my father-in-law who passed away earlier this month: God bless America and all the gallant men and women that served with him in WWII.  He fought the war from the air and ground as a paratrooper in the 101 Airborne!
