Road Trip: Day 1, 2, & 3

I left Wenatchee late Tuesday morning to go to Spokane to pick up my traveling buddy, Gail.  We went to Trader Joe's that afternoon to pick up a case of wine for our evenings during the trip.  Then we went to one of our favorite Italian Restaurants in Spokane Valley for dinner.  

Wednesday morning we left town about 9:30 after we dropped Gail's puppy, Toula, off at the Boarding place.  Our first real destination was the Eagle Crest housing community in Redmond, Oregon where friends were waiting with appetizers, wine, amazing BBQ steaks, pasta salad, corn on the cob and ice cream and strawberries for dessert. Oh, and did I mention butter cream cashew cookies?   

Thursday we had a tee time at River's Edge Golf Course.  It was a fun and challenging course.  I played particularly well on the front nine... starting with 2 pars and 2 birdies.  I had one more birdie on the back nine.  It was a good day!

Friday's destination: Redding, California.

Somehow, Carol, I went down this rabbit hole and ended up here on your blog. When I read next up was Redding, my mouth fell open. Oh, that's not a good idea, I said to nobody in particular but the cats. Then I realized the date on your blog.
