If you are out in Denver this evening there may be an overwhelming amount of street art and displays, due to it being the first Friday. Operating in Denver property management, we are very familiar with the different offerings of our fair city. The first Friday art walk is a staple of the year. Since it only happens 12 times a year, it can be something to look forward to each month. This is especially true of the summer months in which the nights in Denver are supremely pleasant. While it may be 91 degrees right now, it will dip to a very temperate 70-degree night. There is hardly any wind, and if it has rained the day before you are in for a dry night. Because these nights are so compelling there can be a major competition for your attention and time on a Denver night. So, if you are out on the Frist Friday Art Walks near the Children’s Museum of Denver at Marsico Campus, you must check out the introduction of Frankie Tan. Frankie Tan is the new Artist-In-Residence at the children’s museum and is offering a unique perspective not seen here in a while. This starts beginning tonight and will extend to the end of September this year. Frankie is an artist who makes wild and whimsical fiber sculptures. Frankie will be there this evening and will be around his open studio hours to go over the art he’s made from his art using fabrics, felt and fibers. The Open Studio Hours most Fridays and Saturdays 11:00am to 2:00pm from now until September. We highly recommend trying to check out as much art around the city as possible while the weather is great. It can be a nice night for you and your family.
